2 For kings and all who are in positions of authority or high responsibility, that [outwardly] we may pass a quiet and undisturbed life [and inwardly] a peaceable one in all godliness and reverence and seriousness in every way.
3 For such [praying] is good and, right, and [it is] pleasing and acceptable to God our Savior, AMPC

Revelation 8:1-5
A Picture What Prayer Looks Like from Heaven to Earth
Every time we lift our hearts toward God in Jesus' name, an angel of God takes the incense in his hand (our prayers), mixes it with the fire from the altar of God, flings it back to the earth, & it enters back into the earth as thunder, lightning, & earthquakes.
Rev. 8:1-5 He the Lamb broke open the seventh seal, there was silence for about half an hour in heaven.
v2 Then I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and to them were given seven trumpets.
v3 And another angel came and stood over the altar. He had a golden censer, and he was given very much incense (fragrant spices and gums which exhale perfume when burned), that he might mingle it with the prayers of all the people of God (the saints) upon the golden altar before the throne. [Ps. 141:2.]
v4 And the smoke of the incense (the perfume) arose in the presence of God, with the prayers of the people of God (the saints), from the hand of the angel.
v5 So the angel took the censer and filled it with fire from the altar and cast it upon the earth. Then there followed peals of thunder and loud rumblings and blasts and noises, and flashes of lightning and an earthquake. [Lev. 16:12; Ezek. 10:2.]

Daily Praying for the Nations
Father, the course that you have set before us is clear. The great commission continues as we are praying for nations. You have called WBC to respond to the many prayer requests we receive from those who need agreement.
Jesus you are the vine and we are the branches, we remain in you and you remain in us, and our prayers bear much fruit: apart from you, we can do nothing. Lord we obey your Word that says “ Come unto me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest”. We take your yoke upon us this day and learn from you, for you are gentle and kind, and we find our rest in you. Your yoke is easy, and your burden is light.
Lord you said that we ought always to pray and not lose heart or give up. We declare today we are earnest, unwearied, alert with thanksgiving and steadfast in our prayers.
Therefore since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, we throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily besets us, we run with perseverance the race marked before us. We fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. Who for the joy set before Him endured the cross and its shame, and sat down at the right hand of God. We consider Him who endured such opposition, so we will not grow weary and not lose heart during our times of intercession today.
